Vandaag het gesprek met Whitney Johnson.

Whitney is one of fifty leading business thinkers in the world as named by Thinkers50, and an advisor to high growth organizations and individuals. She is the author of the award-winning Disrupt Yourself and Build an A Team, both published by Harvard Business Press, and host of the weekly Disrupt Yourself podcast.

Previously, she co-founded the Disruptive Innovation Fund with Harvard Business School’s Clayton Christensen, and was an award-winning Wall Street stock analyst. On LinkedIn, she was named a top voice in 2018, where she has 1.8 million followers and  currently hosts the twice-weekly LinkedIn Live aptly titled Calm Amidst Chaos.

This was a wonderful conversation with Whitney where she explained the influence of her education in music and jazz still plays a big role in her work today. Building an A-team is important for your business and that’s why I read the book. Listening to her podcast I learned about the importance of disrupting yourself.

Of course we talked about the disruptions that she had in her life. Disrupting yourself and using the S-curve to disrupt the learning curve of your colleagues is important for the innovations in your business.

Enjoy the insights with Whitney.
